At Mayflower, we understand that the early years lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning. Experts, including UNICEF, say that almost 80% of brain development happens before the age of 3. This means what children experience in these early years—care, play, love, and learning—shapes not only their academic success but also their social and emotional well-being

Our programs are designed by professional educators and align with the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), which emphasizes play-based and activity-driven learning in the foundational years. As your child grows, our offerings expand, ensuring that at every step they receive just the right balance of care, stimulation, and joyful experiences. Parents can feel reassured that their child is in safe, experienced hands with a clear vision for their growth.

Little Explorer (1 to 2 years)

LITTLE EXPLORER

At this tender age, children are just beginning to walk, babble, and explore their surroundings. Their biggest needs are safety, warmth, and stimulation of their senses.

Our Little Explorer program gives children the right mix of gentle care and playful learning. With sensory activities, soft music, story sessions, and safe spaces to crawl and walk, little ones develop motor skills, early language, and social awareness. Every moment is guided with patience and love, helping them feel secure while encouraging their natural curiosity.

As UNICEF highlights, early play and responsive caregiving make children feel loved and confident—something we keep at the heart of this program. Parents can trust that their child’s first steps of learning will be happy, safe, and meaningful at Mayflower.

Play Group (2 to 3 year)

Focus: Sharing, group tasks, cooperation, coordination, self-expression, confidence building, vocabulary and imagination.

By this stage, children are brimming with energy and curiosity. They learn by touching, asking, playing, and imitating everything around them. Research shows that play is the most natural way to build language, problem-solving, and social skills.

In our Play Group program, children explore the world through songs, stories, puzzles, role play, outdoor games, and group activities. They start learning concepts like sharing, cooperation, and self-expression, while also building vocabulary and imagination.
Following NEP 2020’s emphasis on activity-based learning, we ensure that every day is exciting and full of discovery. Parents will notice their child becoming more confident, expressive, and eager to explore—laying the foundation for future learning.

Nursery ( 3 to 4 Years)

At this age, children become more curious, expressive, and eager to learn new things every day. They start asking questions, making friends, and understanding the world around them more clearly. Experts including UNICEF and NEP 2020 highlight that these years are very important for building strong learning foundations.

Our Nursery program combines fun activities with structured learning through stories, music, art, phonics readiness, counting games, science play, hands-on activities, and outdoor learning. Inspired by globally respected early learning practices including Montessori and play-based approaches, children learn communication, creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving in a happy and caring environment.
With personal attention and joyful learning experiences, children gradually become more confident, independent, and school-ready while continuing to enjoy the magic of childhood.

Junior KG ( 4 to 5 Years)

Children at this stage are more independent and eager to explore, speak, and learn confidently. They enjoy asking questions, participating in group activities, and discovering new ideas through play and interaction.

Our Junior kinder garden program strengthens language, early reading, writing readiness, and numeracy skills through phonics, storytelling, creative activities, puzzles, games, role play, and hands-on learning experiences. Music, art, and outdoor activities help children express themselves and build confidence.
Following national and international early childhood learning standards recommended we create joyful and meaningful learning experiences that help children become curious, confident, independent, and active learners.

Senior KG (5 to 6 Years)

Senior KG prepares children for a smooth and confident transition to
formal schooling. At this age, children are ready for more structured learning while still learning best through activities, creativity, and exploration.

Our Senior KG program builds strong foundations in reading, writing, numeracy, communication, and problem-solving through engaging classroom activities, stories, projects, games, science exploration, and creative expression. Children also develop discipline, teamwork, leadership qualities, and independent thinking in a caring environment.
Following national and global best practices, we create joyful and meaningful learning experiences that help children become confident and independent with a positive attitude towards learning.

We also guide and support parents in preparing children for admissions and entrance interactions for reputed mainstream schools in Class 1, helping ensure a smooth transition to the next stage of learning.

Day Care (1 – 8 Years)

DAY CARE

Young children need a safe, caring space even after school hours, where they can rest, eat, and enjoy light activities. At the same time, parents need peace of mind knowing their child is being looked after with love and attention

Our Day Care program, available from 12:30 PM onwards, provides a home-like environment for both Mayflower children and those from other playschools. Children enjoy supervised naps, freshly prepared nutritious meals, quiet reading time, and playful activities under the watchful care of trained staff.
UNICEF emphasises that children thrive when they have consistent routines of rest, nutrition, and gentle play, which is exactly what our Day Care provides. Parents can feel reassured that their child is safe, happy, and cared for—while they manage their day without worry.
